Portland kids are creative kids.
Well, truthfully, nearly everyone in Portland is creative. It’s the price of membership in this slightly weird, always wonderful Pacific Northwest community.
So in the spirit of nurturing creativity, we’re always looking for fun stuff to do with our own favorite kid, Miss Lillian (3 1/2). She loves “dressing like Mom.” So I was excited to happen upon (I love you Pinterest!) this easy necklace project that will engage her for at least an hour. And give her something she can proudly wear around town.
Wouldn’t this be a fun activity for a little girl’s birthday party?
Now all I have to do is find some cardboard.
From Julep: “Who says you need to spend a lot of money to be glamorous? With just a bit of cardboard, some paint and a bit of string, your little one can make their very own stylish necklace.”
